✨💈Five things that made me better at clipper cuts and grew my skills as a barber...
1. Take all the haircuts you can! Repetition creates consistency.
2. Fade long to short if you're keeping more length than you're taking off.
3. Blend it short to long if you're going down to skin.
4. Use your fingers and combs to measure and mark your transitions. Don't eyeball it!
5. Create transitions to prevent raising your blend too high.

Got to keep that skin fade baby but don't forget the tilt. 😉💈✂️🤘🏽

😍 Feels like yesterday I was asking a trainer how I could one day be an educator. That was 16 years ago. If you would have told me I'd be leading Field Education for all of Florida, this early in my career I might not have believed you--yet HERE. WE. ARE! 🤘🏽🤯😆
I have had so many incredible conversations with individuals excited to learn from others, hungry for knowledge and with hearts full of serious passion for our industry and craft. That's what keeps me going.🔥
Education is about being able to inspire others to keep going and try something new or difficult. It's celebrating the journey to mastering something, even when it gets really, really hard. I swear reaching that one person who needed to hear that one thing feels like a small miracle every time.
I really believe knowledge is power because communication is energy. When we exchange knowledge that energy is amplifying, we keep that curiosity and love flowing and that energy becomes infinite.🌀🤘🏽⚡🧞‍♀️
