💡 QUICK WAXING TIP: The upper lip is the exception to the rule! 💋

With hard wax, we normally apply the wax in the direction the hair grows and remove against the grain.

But the upper lip is one of the few areas where I intentionally apply hard wax AGAINST the grain to grab those short, stubborn hairs and get a cleaner result.

And this is where hard wax is different from soft wax 👇🏽

Soft wax MUST be applied with the direction of hair growth. Hard wax gives us the flexibility to switch up our application direction when the area and hair growth call for it.

✨ Same wax. Different area. Different technique.
