I took this video last Sunday so I'm late posting. We are all okay and when you see me with a mask on at work, now you'll know why. The day after the fire, my husband was readmitted to the hospital so I was just a mess.

Have you considered how preparing for death could be a radical act of self care? I’m on a girls trip—my homegirls are inside probably binge watching Netflix and I’m in the hot tub thinking about death. 🤷🏿‍♀️ I was thinking about how I use things like girls trips, meditation, exercise, personal development workshops, massages, sound baths, reading books, personal responsibility, owning my darkness, and removing toxicity, in an effort to care for myself and reassess, realign, and refocus on what’s important. This isn’t about treat yo’self (although, I fully support that too)! 🤸🏿‍♀️✨This is about CARING for yourself—for this body, for this life. And with this life always comes along with this death. I can’t think of what says I care about myself and this life that is mine more than wrapping up my practical affairs, communicating the wishes for the end of my life, and thinking about the meaning that this life has than contemplating and preparing for my death. Ya feel me?? How could preparing for death support you in your self care? Thank you so much for giving me a minute of your life to think about the end of it. 🙏🏿⏳💜 08/21/2025
