Do you know that you should be washing your lashes??…like daily!
Just like your face/body, we pick up environmental debris DAILY; in addition to that, we have our own natural oils that combine to cause “build up”…add in makeup and 😳 just gross 😷 🤢
This lovely “buildup” can not only cause premature lash loss BUT increase a risk of an eye infection!
If you wash your face/eyes before lashes then why would it change? It wouldn’t. There’s misconception that washing will make your lashes fall out quicker, if done properly it’s actually quite the opposite! If you’re using a soap that’s not meant for extensions OF COURSE that will cause lack of retention…but if you’re washing with a lash shampoo it will HELP with retention.
(And of course you know keep your eyes safe from cooties 🦠 ew)
When you see lashes fall during/after washing, that’s normal-quite frankly, it’s welcomed! As long as you’re being gentle with your lashes, we want lashes to shed! That means your lash growth cycle isn’t being affected by your extensions. Which meanssss your natural lashes remain healthy and strong!
After washing, brush out to fluff.
