Congratulations to the Happy Thought film crew for participating in Viet Film Fest in California. Viet Film Fest, the largest international film festival for overseas Vietnamese, showcases the best creative works by and about Vietnamese people. The film Happy Thought was written by Tommy Pepper, based on a true story from his family in Utah.

The film features many esteemed Vietnamese Americans in Utah, including Tommy Pepper's family (Will Pepper, parents, Ethan, and relatives), the family of the president of the prestigious Vietnamese community (Tammy Nguyen Luu, Amy, Adam, Bella, and Alex), Mrs. Hoa, Mrs. Thao Huynh, the children of Phil Nguyen and lawyer Jen Ha (Charisma Nguyen and Cadon Nguyen), the children of Huong Nguyen from Top Nails School (Elizabeth Tran), the Long Tay Do family of Jades Corner, and many members of the Spy Hop program crew.

The film will be screened on Friday, October 9th and 10th at Frida Cinema in Santa Ana, California.
