This photo was captured from a video right as I was stepping into the center box to perform my individual routine, the day I earned my IFBB Pro status.
I love this photo because it captures a feeling. That feeling:
I knew that day was mine! The very moment I stepped out from the side of the stage - when I stepped into that box, I didn’t want to miss one moment of that feeling.
Looking back at it, I never felt more beautiful and proud in the Woman I am and all I am blessed to live.

The Battle - the victory or the defeat. This is what spectators see. What they don’t see countless hours into the training camp, the injuries that may occur along the way, dieting and weight cut. Emotional highs and lows that may plant seeds of self doubt.
This is first and foremost where strength is built. Without mental toughness one will be knocked down before ever stepping into the cage.
