Four of the MOST used products in the salon are the BLOW.DRY sprays from Kevin.Murphy. They each speed up blow dry time, offer heat protection, soft hold for the targeted style and as always a wonderful scent. Simply spray in before you blow dry, and voila, it does it’s job!

Featuring hairstyles on our Instagram page is a part of keeping our modern resume active. Most stylists have invested in a class or two (or three or four) on how to take photos for social media platforms.
Just like any picture we see in a magazine, it isn’t “real life” …notice how in this picture .paramountsalon is using a ring light in front of a bright window to enhance the shine and blonde reflection as much as possible. The end result of this is a brighter blonde that catches all the light available on planet earth. This particular Lovely’s photo is brought in often, used as an inspo pic of a desired color of blonde. It’s important to touch on a few facts:
1. She’s a natural blonde so unless someone has her exact base color without any previous dark colors applied, they will not attain the same blonde tone.
2. The lighting was manipulated for this photo. It was not edited post capture, however, it most certainly is “altered” color as most people don’t walk around with a ring light, so, one can consider using her hair as an inspo pic may be an unrealistic expectation.
3. She takes good care of her hair. She comes in for regular visits, uses high quality products at home, and doesn’t change her color often which means long, healthy hair that helps me (Rachel) look like a hair magician, but, she plays a huge part in helping capture these amazing “after” shots!

When discussing ANY level of lightness with your stylist make sure to touch on how it will reflect light in all lighting situations, and try to remember that 99% of inspo pics are purposefully planned to make people be like, “I want that!!! 😍🤤💓”

Coming in August, Paramount will be offering a new way to be a part of our team while having a private area for your guests. There will be a designated shampoo lounger, just for that space along with the opportunity to select music, decor, hair care products, and every nuance of the vibe curated for that sacred space. The perks of a private studio without having to store refreshments or have any extra guests wait in that space. We offer the option to have a separate mixing area, a towel service, addition to the website and social media advertising.

We are looking for a very experienced stylist with exceptional self drive, business etiquette, customer service skills, strong booth rental history, and of course, amazing hair artistry.
