Creating an exfoliating cream cleanser today.
Love the texture and it includes a favorite ingredient apricot seed.
I loved those scrubby seeds in a classic product I’ve used.
This version also includes fruit acid as well as cucumber extract, rice bran and avocado oils, and natural fragrance to gently exfoliate the skin while leaving it feeling soft and moisturized.

Love the texture of this mask for oily skin.
It features French green clay, sulfur mud, and tea tree, frankincense, elemi, and lavender essential oils; as well as willow bark extract and green tea.
The result is a mask that addresses oiliness in a gentle way. Aimed at mature skin as well as young adults the goal is to leave skin feeling cleansed, hydrated, and toned.
Perhaps it’s not trending, fancy, or cutting edge, but it has great texture, a lovely aroma, and effective, botanical ingredients.
I think people are going to enjoy it and how it makes their skin feel.
Excited to get it into the hands of our client for testing.

I’m really proud of this article about Camellia sinensis (green tea) CO2 extract. And as always loved expanding my knowledge.
It’s part of an issue devoted to tea.

So excited to be working on some new scalp elixirs.
First up, oil based products to support dry scalp and boost healthy scalp and fuller looking hair.
Made with aromatics that support the scalp as well as the mind body connection.
Don’t these sound like a wonderful addition to your hair care service or weekly hair care routine?
Who couldn’t use a little more self care during everyday personal care routines?
Yes please!
Add a new layer to your mindfulness routine that adds intention into more moments and turns the ordinary into opportunities for awareness and connection to being.
Stay tuned. It’s coming. And we need it.
It looks like it’s empty…
But it’s not.
That my friends, is a clear gel.
And fun fact… back in the day I actually played in the first round of the NCAA division III basketball tournament.
And while it doesn’t get shown on prime time TV it still mattered to us.
And speaking about what matters — how about we not only celebrate those who show up on the big stage — but also those who show up every day in ways big and small.
Celebrate someone who helps elevate you!

Back to basics.
I’ve always loved science and nature.
I studied molecular biology and worked in cancer and cardiovascular research labs.
As a mom I became interested in aromatherapy to help my family, which led to my path in becoming a certified aromatherapist.
And that in turn led to completing a diploma in personal care formulation and lots of other cosmetic formulation courses to become a cosmetic chemist.
I love creating products to help support wellness and wellbeing and enjoy exploring how cosmetic ingredients, chemistry, science, and nature can converge to create beautiful solutions to support people and our planet.

Working on an eye cream today.
It features the usual suspects— brightening niacinamide coupled with caffeine to help ease puffiness.
Emulsions are said to deliver actives more effectively.
I’m looking to bridge what I’ve learned as an aromatherapist as well as in my cosmetic chemistry training. Looking to bridge the best of both worlds to create something wonderful and effective.
Something that feels amazing and delivers results.
Stay tuned as I think about what we’re looking for this eye cream to deliver and the best format and combination of ingredients to do so.
I love what I do and look to create products people love made with care for people and the planet.
What do you look for in an eye cream? What do you wish it delivered? If you could create your own what ingredients would you include?

Behind the scenes creating a cleansing conditioner.
I love the way it smells! A perfect combination of tea tree, rosemary, eucalyptus, sweet orange, and peppermint awaken the senses and refresh the scalp.
It’s not just a hair product it’s an opportunity to slow down, relax, refresh and love your scalp and hair.
Doesn’t that sound amazing?

Behind the scenes, creating a cleansing cream.
It’s a creamy non-foaming cleanser that includes fruit enzymes, hydrosol, and ingredients that help gently remove makeup and cleanse while supporting vibrant, healthy skin.
I’m a simple kind of gal. I don’t typically wear makeup, I’m outdoors a lot, and as I get older I want to look my best without trying to deny the fact that we change as we grow older and wiser.
I’m just trying to support my skin health by nourishing it inside and out as naturally as I can.
And keeping it hydrated and supporting skin cell turnover are some of my go to strategies.
Sure I miss being 18, 30, even 40 — but I’m embracing beauty at every age…
Have you seen the Barbie movie where the young, gorgeous ‘Barbie’ sees an older white haired woman and remarks “You’re so beautiful!”
Beauty is more than skin deep. It’s a mindset. It comes from the heart and soul. It’s a life experience.
Yes I create products to cleanse, nourish, and beautify the skin but I also hope they foster an experience that nurtures your true beauty, one that is beyond the skin deep.

Tricia
