I was recently invited to the Convergence: Beauty, Wellness, and Science convention, hosted by Ted Gibson and Jason Backe. To be honest, I wasn’t prepared for the level of high-quality, substantive education I received.
Instead of just meeting sales representatives, I had the opportunity to connect directly with brand founders and owners. Hearing their passion and learning about their journeys as true innovators was inspiring. In one of my breakout sessions, I met the founder of Zenagen, who is a molecular biologist. He went into incredible detail regarding the science behind his products and the “why” behind his formulations.
I also met with the founder of Jack Winn Pro, a color line I am really looking forward to testing out. There were so many other local vendors in attendance who showed great support and truly tied the community together. It was refreshing to have such a high-caliber, inspiring educational event right here in the desert. Thank you Ted and Jason! Look forward to next year!
