In the past, I’ve taken clients from colored to natural in one session—but I’ve learned that for most people, that kind of transformation can feel too abrupt. The grow-out phase plus a full correction all at once can be a little shocking.
With this client, we took a more intentional approach. Instead of rushing the process, we started with a gentle transition—correcting her existing color and strategically placing ultra-fine babylights to mimic and blend with her natural gray. The goal? A soft, lived-in result that feels natural now and grows out beautifully over time.
This is about trusting the process and creating a transition that feels as good as it looks 💫

Six months after her original balayage, it was time for a little refresh ✨
