All of a sudden one day we were doing some farm chores, and we heard some little kittens crying. Wedged between the wall and the barn door.
No idea where the mom is, hasn’t returned to get these two little kittens, but now they will be raised as little barn cats to keep the rodents down.

Some days are easy and loving, some are sad and somber. We lost half of our family guard dog duo today, our Mastiff named Rover. He went under the tree, laid down one final time, and finally got to take a day off from his family duty.
In all his time, not one coyote or bobcat or mountain lion made it near our backyard pool or patio area.
We decided to bury him where he laid down to rest, after tears were wiped away, God taught the boys a lesson in death and service to our family. Thank you Rover. Thank you God. ☦️☦️
