Jamila Goetz, LMT

One of my regular clients got into a car accident. They were in bad shape, their words not mine, experiencing severe neck pain and vertigo. They took advantage of a last-minute cancelation and booked a 60-minute session. This is the response after just one session. I am always humbled and amazed by my client's ability to heal through intentional and compassionate touch. It also helped that I've worked with this client before and know what is normal and what is dysfunctional in their body.

I don't just get to know my clients, they get to know me too. This shirt was a gift from one of my package-holder clients and it just screams Jamila Goetz LMT! My name is Jamila Goetz✌️. I've been a massage therapist for 10 years with the pleasure of serving the beautiful Temecula Valley for the past 4.

Clients see me to diminish or eliminate pain, reduce stress and tention, or enjoy the many benefits massage has to offer.

Every single body I have had the pleasure of working with tells a story. A story of a life lived, of infinite love, of loss, of triumph and defeat, of pain, strength, weakness, and everything in between. It is my job to listen. I do not fix, at the very best I'm only a facilitator of your body's natural healing abilities. It's an absolute honor to be your massage therapist and humbled by your trust.

Currently out of the office this week. Will be learning the ancient technique of cupping.

In case anyone happens to see my certificate, it used to be mandatory to display where ever I practiced, it is in fact current. Lots of things have bothered me about how the CAMTC "handled" the Covid-19 crisis but not providing proof of certificate to massage therapists really irritates me. What are we paying for? Us ethical, hard working massage therapists deserve better.

The awesome way I learned anatomy in massage school. Shout out to my fellow kinesthetic learners! I'd say it's second best to a cadaver.

10 years ago. I thought I had it figured out and I knew it all. I would wear heels daily, didn't understand basic anatomy and the long term strain I was putting on myself physically and mentally. I knew I needed a change and that change happened when I lost my job. It became a blessing because I also lost my ego and gained perspective.

Fast forward I've invested in my education, physical and mental health, my family, and my happiness. 10 years later, I relate to Socrates, "The more I know, the more I realized I know nothing."

I am humbled and so grateful to have found my passion and create a career out of it. Thank you for the continued support of my family, friends, and mostly my clients. Let's keep making optimal health a priority ❤️
