POV: fall finally showed up. 🍂
Rain on the windows. Leaves on the ground. A candle burning somewhere nearby.
Velvet Figwood was made for days like this — rich fig, earthy moss and green leaves softened with amber, sea salt, patchouli, peach and brown sugar.
Moody. Earthy. A little sweet. Basically fall with the windows cracked. 🤎

Christina and I spend a ridiculous amount of time smelling, testing, talking over each other, changing our minds, and saying “okay wait… smell THIS one again.” 😂
And today we’re extra excited because our very first order from Midwest Fragrance Company | Candle & Soap Supplies is here. 👏🏼
We are incredibly particular about the fragrances we bring into Canary Swan. We want beautiful, complex scents, but we also have standards when it comes to the ingredients and formulations we’re willing to work with and finding fragrance suppliers that can give us BOTH is a big deal.
So to find another company producing cleaner fragrances that meet our standards and smell absolutely incredible?! We are beyond excited to start creating with them.

It’s official. 🖤
Canary Swan Co. is officially licensed with E.L. Emkey , and we are SO excited to bring her stories to life through fragrance.
Our first collection will take us into The Brotherhood The Devil’s Hunt, The Devil’s Chaos, and The Devil’s Wrath. Dark contemporary suspense, mafia, forced proximity, danger, obsession… basically, this collection is going to be FUN. 👀
And this is only the beginning.
Atlas + Arrow will be getting their own Canary Swan moment in a separate drop. 🖤
Two drops. Two different worlds. And a whole lot coming.

EDGE OF DARKNESS UPDATE 🖤
When we opened our very first Edge of Darkness preorder, so many of you ordered before you had even seen the finished candles.
You trusted us. You trusted our vision for this world. And we will never take that lightly. 🥹
The majority of our first launch orders are officially on their way, and we’ll be finishing up the remaining orders this week!
And then… we finish the Edge of Darkness universe. 🖤
At the end of September, our second and final Edge of Darkness launch will arrive featuring:
Tobias Mitchell.
Milo & Hopper.
Psychotic Obsession.
This next collection will carry the same dark, moody vision as our first launch, with one change the new candles will be poured in white vessels instead of clear.
Three new scents. Three final pieces of the collection. One last Edge of Darkness launch.
