WE MADE IT. This year was a BIG and difficult year. LJ started kindergarten. Blaise started second grade in a new school. Blaise was in school a total of six hours less and Layne was half day kinder only being in school 4 hours a day with no before or aftercare. So two different drop offs and two different pick ups - ALL SCHOOL YEAR! 🥴Jordan has been killing it managing his team at Rivian full-time and I was getting my business off the ground. Not to mention coaching football, volunteering for religious education at our church, football, basketball, baseball, swim lessons, jiu jitsu, building a pool, Aunt Linds wedding and the sudden death of Jordan’s mom and all the other activities! With switching schools, it was harder for me than the kids. I had established relationships and friendships that I still hold onto and I’m so grateful for. We’ve made some great new friends along the way. To say this year was challenging, is understatement. There was a lot of Personal things with both the kids teachers had to go through and navigating subs and their education and questioning if we did the right thing by moving them. Kids are pretty amazing and resilient! They made some great friendships along the way and can’t stop talking about the amazing year that they had. We’re looking forward to first grade and third grade happy summer, everybody! ☀️👙🩳💦
