Very simply, I founded SweetTeat to educate, enlighten and empower women to breastfeed.
Whether this is your first child or your fifth, there is a special place for you in my practice. Whether you are exclusively breastfeeding an infant or you are supplementing one with formula, there is still much to gain from my practice. Whether no one in your entire family has ever breastfed, or your husband and mother-in-law are nudging you to give it a try, your potential to succeed with breastfeeding is limitless and I would be honored to help you on your journey!

Arizbeth Dionisio Ambrosio has earned a well-deserved promotion after showing exceptional compassion in the aftermath of Hurricane Otis. Deployed to Acapulco following the devastating Category 5 storm, Dionisio, a 33-year-old mother herself, went above and beyond her duty.
She encountered a four-month-old baby boy who hadn’t eaten for an extended period and was crying from hunger. Dionisio approached the distressed mother and, understanding the mother’s inability to breastfeed, offered to nurse the hungry infant herself having just had a baby and able to breast feed.
In recognition of her extraordinary act of compassion, Dionisio was promoted earlier this week. Her rank was upgraded from “policía primero” to “suboficial.”

Photo by Brian Skerry · A nursing s***m whale! Interestingly enough, that may or may not be the calf's mother. In some social units, the aunts and grandmas also provide milk to offspring. Some females have even been seen nursing two calves at the same time, neither of them her own!

Going to visit the Monterey Aquarium with baby? The nursing area is located within the woman’s bathrooms, closest to the cafe on the 1st level. When you walk in, the wood seats and charger stations are to your immediate left.

Assembly bill 3059 was signed into law in California!! 👏🏼
“Creating greater access to donor milk is vital for the health and well-being of newborns and their families,” said University of California President Michael V. Drake, M.D. “We applaud Assemblymember Weber for her leadership on AB 3059, and we are grateful that the Governor has signed this important bill into law.”
AB 3059 is signed into law, allowing more babies in need to access life-saving nutrition | UCnet AB 3059 will define donor milk as an essential health benefit under commercial insurance plans, establishing coverage parity with Medi-Cal .

It takes a village, especially in the aftermath of a natural disaster 🤱🏻
“There is a growing number of doulas, midwives, lactation consultants and nurses — many of them mothers — who have become horseback-riding heroes for pregnant women and their young children suffering in the wake of Hurricane Helene.
They are knocking on doors, hiking up mountains and riding horses to provide “wellness checks” for pregnant women and babies who may have been stranded or unable to contact their normal medical providers.”
