My goal as your makeup artist is to make you look and feel your best, and put you at ease. On shoots and on set, I pride myself in being professional and anticipating the talent’s needs before they ask. I am truly passionate about what I do, because it allows me to build new relationships and meet people that I may not have had the opportunity to. My strong love of hair and makeup artistry came when I was on a competitive Latin and Ballroom dance team while attending UC Davis. I would help my team members with their hair and makeup for competitions, and always loved creating different looks. After graduating from UC Davis, I moved to San Diego where I pursued my love of makeup. I attended makeup artistry school in Los Angeles and started working as the lead makeup artist for a local TV news station in downtown San Diego. My work has been featured on Fox News Channel, CNN, MSNBC, HLN, Fox Business, CBS, Syfy Network, E! , and KPBS. I specialize in beauty services for TV, film, media, special events, bridal, boudoir, print, editorial, and commercial clients. I also teach makeup lessons upon request. Ankerman Artistry services include everything from High Definition makeup application, airbrush makeup, false eyelashes, and hair styling.

I am so incredibly grateful to the country that has given me, my family, and so many others freedom and countless opportunities we may not have had anywhere else. My ancestors came here from all over the world to make a new life for themselves. They were always so proud of what they built and the country that allowed them to do it.
I pray that God continues to bless this beautiful nation that so many have fought and died for, and so many still risk their lives to reach. 💗✨
On a side note, this was such a fun commercial to work on for Cosequin! 🎬🎥 I got to love on horses AND dogs….what a dream!
When asked what I love about my job, it always comes back to getting to be creative while helping people feel like the best version of themselves. Whether it’s a bride in her wedding day, or a client getting ready for a special event, the experience is the same for me and my team!
