Hey, everyone. I just wanted to give a heads up, I may or may not want to talk about it when people come for an appointment, but my house burned down last night. Piper and I are alright. I'm numb and frozen, no idea how the next year will unfold. At some point I will need furniture so if you're planning on donating something in a few weeks when I'm no longer homeless (hope it's not longer than that) I'll probably need everything...

I'm spending the morning working on the frustrating and tedious task of migrating my entire booking system -- appointments, clients, history, notes -- while Piper offers emotional support from the corner of the room.

Be careful on the drive-in this morning! Our back parking lot has a lot of trees down!

Is you hair stressed from a summer of swimming? These products are life savers. Malibu Swimmer's shampoo and conditioner (nope, regular shampoo doesn't remove the chlorine), a deep conditioning treatment of either Olaplex moisturizing mask or Pureology strengthening mask and leave-in spray Color Fanatic. Don't forget combing or brushing wet hair is very damaging. ALWAYS use a Wet-Brush!

Apparently today is National Relaxation Day. (I feel like they should have told us sooner so we could prepare.) As luck would have it, I am escaping the desert heat and am relaxing by a pool, recovering from a 13 hour not-so-relaxing day at Disneyland. I'm happy to sit here and do nothing with my feet up.
