Is a chemical peel that uses enzymes, amino and natural acids to gently exfoliate the skin while offering aggressive corrective results without downtime.

Unlike traditional TCA peels that have a “downtime” (peeling or shedding of skin) that last from 3 to 5 days and come with dryness and irritation this peel does not.

| AFRICAN SPONGES |

I just returned from my vacation in Ghana and this time I made sure to bring back some skincare goodies to share with my Afterglow Oasis clients.

The continent’s best kept secret to beautiful, smooth and clear skin outside of shea butter is African sponges. They are long nets that many West Africans use as a washcloth to bathe and exfoliate their bodies (not their face). It can be cut in half into 2 separate nets or left as one. Typically they can last forever, however I would recommend discarding after 60 days for hygiene and sanitation purposes. This is also great for those who have keratosis pilaris aka strawberry skin.
