Today was one of those days that is hard to put into words. I was so proud to watch my little man go out there give it his all & still walk away with a smile on his face. I told him if he could step on those mats then I could too & I did & it was such an amazing experience! We both learned today, but the support from my family & our family was incredible! It was an amazing feeling to step on those mats with so many people in my corner cheering for me - thank you to everyone who stayed 💕 Today we learned & I can’t wait to learn some more! 🔺 .jillc Big thanks to my #1 fan for always supporting me & my crazy ideas! Have you ever done something just because (or in my case a dare from - I will forever be grateful!) & you didn’t realize it was what you had been searching for - a missing puzzle piece that you didn’t even realize was missing?!?!?
Well that’s what & has been for me! My son had done it off & on for a year & a half & he was little & I didn’t pay much attention, but when it was my turn it came at a time that I so desperately needed (thanks 2020) Everyone was so welcoming, patient & genuinely happy to have a new member! This home (as it more fees like) has welcomed my whole family with open arms & I have met some of the best people & made new friends that are stuck with me for life now!
To top it off I get to be an instructor now & teach the BarraFit class 3x a week! It helps with conditioning & builds your stamina to strength your Jiu Jitsu journey or if you want to give Jiu Jitsu a try & aren’t quite ready to put a Gi on this is a great way to introduce yourself to this amazing program!
