Two weeks ago, we had the honor of being invited to help kickstart the University Connections Summer Program through the Vigo County School Corporation and teaching hundreds of young students the fun behind soap making. 🫧

Each student learned how to color and pour their own bar of soap and get a glimpse into what it’s like to be a soap maker. Not only was it a gift to see their excited faces, but to have my own son sit in on a class with me and see his mama hard at work. Each student was able to take their bar home with them at the end of their session too! 🥰

Thank you to the VCSC for entrusting me with your amazing students, the many teachers who helped the class run smoothly, and lastly to my awesome volunteers who went through several hours of prepwork and instruction, including preparing and distributing extra soap bars for program staff afterwards. 🫶🏻
