While I understand that this time of year gets a little hectic, I ask that you please adhere to Vanity Beauty Lounge's cancellation policies. There has been a trend lately of people showing up late for their appointments and trying to rearrange and reschedule their appointments without ample time for me to plan accordingly or to give someone else the opportunity to take advantage of the new availability.

Let's brush up on the cancellation policy...

•Vanity Beauty Lounge requires a minimum of 48 hours of notice for any and all cancellations. Failure to do so will result in a minimum charge of 50% of the total cost of all scheduled services.

•Anyone arriving 15 or more minutes late will be considered a last minute cancellation, will be charged accordingly, and asked to reschedule.

•No-shows will result in full payment of 100% of the cost for all scheduled services.

•Anyone arriving ANY number of minutes late for any reason is responsible for contacting Vanity Beauty Lounge with as much notice as possible to determine the appropriate course of action. Even if you are just one or two minutes late, please give me the courtesy of notifying me. Failure to notify will result in forfeiting your appointment and will be considered a no-show.

•If you are less than 15 minutes late and it has been determined by Vanity Beauty Lounge that you can still be serviced, please understand that although we may not be left with enough time to accommodate all of your scheduled services, you will still be charged for all scheduled services. For example, if you are scheduled for a color, cut, and blow dry and are running 10 minutes late and I can still accommodate you, but won't have time to complete your blow dry, you are still responsible for paying for the blow dry since the service was scheduled.

•While it is understood that sometimes life gets in the way, running even a few minutes late can throw off my entire day. While I understand that sometimes the unpredictable happens and is out of our control, I can no longer allow these circumstances to impact my other customers' appointments.

I do not enjoy enforcing these policies, but they exist to protect myself and my livelihood as well as your appointments as my customers. When I'm put in the position where I need to enforce these policies and charge accordingly, please understand that it is never personal. While I'm grateful to work with clients who accept me for being my authentic self and work in a casual and social atmosphere, at the end of the day, this is my job and I am running a business.

Office hours are the hours which Vanity Beauty Lounge responds to and all communication (text messages, phone calls, e-mails, etc.). Please allow up to 24-48 hours for a reply as the salon communication is handled between appointments.
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
Every Other Saturday 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Communication is not available on Sundays nor "off" Saturdays. Messaging resumes on Mondays.

I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for being so amazingly understanding and patient with my absence and recovery so far! My surgery went well and I’m on the (very long - like 6 months long) road to recovery. I was feeling good enough to make the trip to NY to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I left my salon phone at home for my quick little overnight, but will return messages, etc. upon my return! It’s still going to be a few weeks until I’m back at the salon, but I have lotssssssssss of fun holiday hair to share photos and videos of in the meantime! I will have plenty of time over the next couple of weeks to share share SHARE!

Thanks again for bearing with me! More grateful than ever to have THE BEST clients and I can’t wait to get back to work and see all of your beautiful faces once again! Wishing you all the Happiest Thanksgiving!
