I always preface this kind of post by saying I am not a medical or mental health professional, but I am a caring human being. Many of us have been affected personally by a sudden tragedy that very often could be prevented.

If anyone reading this is struggling, dont hesitate to reach out. I can tell you I am not fully equipped to intervene alone, but I have gathered a deep bench of professionals willing to step up for you.

If you suspect anyone you know may be at risk of self-harm, please take the time and proper measures to reach out to them. The worst thing that could happen would be an awkward conversation and someone would know you cared enough about them to make it awkward. And if your suspicion is unfortunately correct, you may very well be able to save a life.
