Creating effective solutions starts with utilizing the right fresh ingredients. I was asked to create a cream for burns/scarring caused by cancer treatment. For this recipe I chose Aloe Vera, a medicinal plant with anti-viral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing properties, and Cucumber, which helps hydrate the skin and soothe irritation. Adding to that the herbal powerhouse blend of Eucalyptus, Chamomile, and Lavender along with raw honey, which work together to soothe and regenerate irritated, damaged skin, reduce pain and inflammation, as well as fight bacteria on the surface of the skin. For the emulsion, I selected Coconut, Baobab, Tea Tree, Frankincense, VitaminE, and Red Raspberry Oils which help hydrate, provide a protective layer, alleviate pain, and promote healing for damaged skin. And of course none of my concoctions would be complete without a prayer that God would allow each of these ingredients to do exactly what He created them to do... heal, nourish, and restore. I pray that it will help in some small way and that God will bring healing, restoration, and remission to the person using it.❤️ ~Amen

What started as a simple desire to help my son with his skin problem, has now blossomed into a full blown product line for skin, hair, and body that is yielding results. Inspired by problems shared with me, as well as ones I've experienced personally, each product has been researched and lovingly handcrafted by me, using the best natural ingredients, to help promote healthier solutions to common issues. Alley's Apothecary was born out of a mother's love and desire to help her child. Last year my son was diagnosed with Chronic Atopic Dermatitis, a severe form of eczema. Watching him struggle and suffer with this condition was one of the hardest things I've ever experienced. The OTC creams and treatments just weren't working or they contained toxic steroids, which over time, would do more harm than good. Feeling helpless, I began to research the healing benefits of plants and natural essential oils to help with his skin. This opened up a world of discovery and the opportunity to address problems I was having as well. In doing so, I have developed a number of skin and hair products that provide nourishment, moisture, and healing to the body from head to toe.
