יום אחד בשנה שבו אנחנו עוצרים באמת.
בלי רעש, בלי הסחות דעת, ועם צום שמזכיר לנו לרגע מה באמת חשוב.
זהו יום של חשבון נפש.
יום שבו אנחנו מביטים פנימה ושואלים את עצמנו בכנות:
על מה אנחנו צריכים לבקש סליחה?
למי אנחנו צריכים לסלוח?
ואיך אנחנו צריכים לסלוח לעצמנו?
יש סליחות שקל לבקש, ויש כאלה שדורשות מאיתנו הרבה אומץ.
יש אנשים שקל לסלוח להם, ויש כאבים שלוקח שנים לשחרר.
אבל אולי זו בדיוק המשמעות של יום כיפור.
להניח לרגע את האגו, את הכעס ואת המשקעים, ולתת ללב מקום למחילה.
הצום הוא לא רק של הגוף.
הוא גם הזדמנות לצום מהכעס, מהשיפוטיות, מהמרירות ומהמילים שכבר אין צורך לשאת איתנו.
לבקש סליחה מכל הלב.
לסלוח מכל הלב.
ולהאמין שגם אחרי שטעינו, עדיין אפשר לתקן.
ביום הקדוש הזה, נבקש מאלוהים מחילה על חטאינו, ונבקש גם את הכוח להיות אנשים טובים יותר, סלחניים יותר ואמיתיים יותר עם עצמנו ועם אחרים.
סליחה.
מחילה.
תפילה.
ולב אחד שמבקש להיות נקי יותר!
הלוואי שנצא מיום הכיפורים הזה עם לב קצת יותר נקי, נשמה קצת יותר שקטה, והרבה יותר מקום לסליחה, למחילה ולאהבה.
יהי רצון שכל הפצועים בגוף ובנפש יזכו לרפואה שלמה, שכל חיילינו יחזרו הביתה בשלום, ושנזכה לימים של שקט, אחדות ושלום.
