I always recommend clean hair for any bridal/event hairstyling.

Day old hair is fine, maybe even 2 days if you don't get oily, but otherwise it's best to wash the day before and blow dry it out!

Also, Do not sleep with wet hair, you are creating buildup in your scalp/hair strands!
