My patient shared this picture with me🥳. I love the power of under-eye filler. A result that makes you look more rested-not “filled”. I think it’s important to explain to patients that they will go through, what I believe was best described by as “u-shaped happiness”. Meaning that immediately after treatment people are generally happy followed by a period of, no better way to really put it, a period where they are unimpressed, until the filler integrates into the tissue and softens and hydrates a bit. This particular patient had this experience- we talked through it and then she sent me her own before and after photo at about the 6 week mark.
