Mineral blush pros and cons are actually the exact same thing: they are crazy pigmented 😲
That’s why I put together a full tutorial for you guys. If you aren't used to loose mineral formulas, it’s way too easy to end up looking like a clown real quick 🤡
It all comes down to using the right tools (like a small duo fiber brush) and keeping a few backup tricks ready (like DIY makeup remover) for when you accidentally go overboard.

Green eyeshadow? Don’t worry, like most of our colors at adorned with Grace, this one isn’t too bright and has just enough shimmer to bring a natural sparkle to your eyes! 👁️💚
Watch our new tutorial tomorrow on YouTube to see which eyeshadows and blush we pair with our gorgeous green shade, Benevolent. ☺️
If you want something a little more intuitive than contouring (where you have to figure out the best “map” for your unique face shape🤔) AND you don’t necessarily want to change your already beautiful face, I like to simply use bronzer and highlighter to add a bit of dimension back.
This is especially helpful when you apply a heavier coverage mineral foundation, particularly one with a very matte finish. (This isn’t the ‘90s 😜.) Fuller coverage can sometimes flatten out the natural shadows and highlights of your face, so adding them back strategically helps your skin look more dimensional without looking overly sculpted.
You can use this technique on its own or along with your regular makeup routine to bring a little more natural life back into your complexion.

This is probably one of my favorite colorful makeup looks ever!😍💙
I used my favorite mineral eyeshadow, Tranquil, a rich metallic teal blue 🦋 Like the makeup tutorial itself, this shade was inspired by a look from Taylor Chang-Babaian’s book, Asian Faces.
I never thought I would love a blue smoky eye on myself, but I’m still loving this look 18 years after seeing it for the first time.

One of the questions I hear most often from potential customers is, “Will mineral makeup last on my oily skin?”🧐
The answer is yes, with the right products and techniques!😀
As with most things makeup related, it starts with proper skin prep and choosing ingredients that help control excess oil.
The key is to prime your skin with the right products, such as a mattifying primer and powders with oil absorbing properties. How you apply them matters too. I use the “taco method” to distribute the powder evenly on the puff, followed by the “sandwich method,” where the mineral foundation is layered between two applications of powder.
(Is anyone else getting hungry? 😜🤣🌮🥪)

The challenge when wearing purple eyeshadow is that it can sometimes look bruised. 😬
adorned with Grace carries several purple-toned eyeshadows, but this technique will work with any brand. Because we prefer those understated yet elegant looks, we’d love to show you how to apply this pop of color while keeping the overall look natural without overpowering your face.👁️💜🌟
This look is loosely inspired by the makeup book Asian Faces by Taylor Chang-Babaian called “Bejeweled.”👑
