Graduation and College Bound
Time Out of Salon and Communication Update
Hiya, J.Hues Styling Guests,
As many of you know, this season is especially meaningful for our family as we celebrate Rocco’s graduation and prepare to move him to Murray, Kentucky for summer football training with Murray State University. Because of this exciting transition, I will be taking a small break during select dates this summer to focus on family, travel, and helping him settle into this next chapter.
Please make note of the following dates that I will be unavailable or operating with delayed communication:
• May 21st–24th — Rocco’s graduation celebrations and hosting out-of-town family visiting for graduation weekend. His graduation ceremony will be held at Reed Arena in College Station.
• July 4th–8th — Traveling to move Rocco into Murray State University in Murray and attending university orientation during those dates.
During these times, replies to messages may be slightly delayed. If you are needing immediate appointment adjustments, I kindly encourage you to utilize the online booking system to locate, move, or reschedule your appointment directly through the scheduling platform.
I also highly encourage online booking for both scheduling new appointments and making appointment changes whenever possible. The online system allows guests to receive immediate availability and confirmation rather than waiting for my return messages during business hours or at the end of my workday.
My current working hours remain Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Outside of those hours, I am working to be more intentional about protecting personal time, family time, and moments of rest and restoration. If you send a message during my off-hours, please know that your message is important to me and I will absolutely respond as soon as I am able.
Thank you for your continued loyalty, patience, support, and understanding as our family navigates such a special milestone season. Your support of J.Hues Styling has allowed me the ability to be present for these moments, and for that I am incredibly grateful.

FALL SCHEDULING &
ADVANCE BOOKING REMINDERS
I also wanted to give all guests advance notice regarding upcoming scheduling adjustments for late summer and fall.
At some point during August, I will be taking a personal vacation leave for a health and wellness retreat. At this time, the exact dates have not yet been finalized, but I wanted to communicate this early so guests can plan accordingly once dates are officially announced.
Because of this future leave, as well as the busy fall season approaching, I strongly encourage all guests to utilize the online booking platform, save the booking link for easy access, and consider pre-booking future appointments whenever possible. Pre-booking will help ensure preferred appointment times and create a smoother scheduling experience during the upcoming football season and holiday months.
Additionally, beginning this fall there will no longer be Saturday appointment availability due to college football travel and game weekends with Murray State University. This is a temporary shift during football season so I can attend Rocco's games this upcoming Fall.
To better accommodate guests during the work week, I will be extending evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

2025 was a year of realignment, intentional pauses, and honoring the roles that mattered most.
I stepped back a bit — not because I disappeared, but because I was deeply present. I was fulfilling my roles as a mom, navigating the whirlwind of a teenage athlete preparing for college recruitment, managing life transitions, balancing family, and giving myself permission to breathe. I needed space to recalibrate, rediscover my rhythm, and prepare for what’s next… including embracing the reality of an upcoming empty nest.
During that time, I wasn’t absent… I was evolving.
I was refining goals, rebuilding vision, strengthening direction, pouring into my personal growth, and laying the foundation for what comes next both personally and professionally.
