I've been thinking a lot about rest lately.
We live in a world that almost celebrates being busy.
If we're busy, we're productive.
If we're busy, we're getting things done.
If we're busy, we're important.
But here's the thing…
God didn't design us to run nonstop.
Even Jesus stepped away from the crowds to pray.
So maybe rest isn't being lazy.
Maybe rest is simply recognizing that we're human.
Maybe it's trusting God enough to say…
"I don't have to do everything today."
So if you've been running on empty lately, let this be your reminder:
You are allowed to rest.
You don't have to earn it.
You don't have to feel guilty about it.
Just rest.
And I'd love to know…
What does rest look like for you?
