our wonderful Director of Nursing Jolene! A little about Jolene and her vision as the Director of Nursing:

“I’m Mexican, and I’m very proud of my culture and where I come from. 🇲🇽❤️ My culture has taught me that love, respect, family, and caring for others are some of the most important things in life. About 20 years ago, I started my journey at Valley. I worked here for 6 years while I was going to school for nursing, and Valley became a very special place in my heart. At that time, my English was still limited, and the people here gave me the opportunity to learn, grow, and become more confident. I will always be grateful for that.
After receiving my RN, I moved on to work in the hospital, where I gained experience and learned so much in different areas of healthcare. But a part of my heart always stayed at Valley. ❤️

My goal is to make Valley the #1 assisted living community the place where every resident feels loved, respected, safe, heard, and truly at home. 🏡❤️ After 14 years of experience in different departments, hard work, and learning alongside an amazing team, I believe we have everything we need to make that vision a reality.

For me, this is more than just a job. It’s personal. I came back to Valley because I believe in this place, in our residents, and in our team. I want us to continue growing, supporting one another, creating meaningful moments for our residents, and giving every person who walks through our doors the care and dignity they deserve.
