Welcome to Blade & Bloom. 🖤

Over the next month I’ll be finishing school, getting settled into my new space, adding all of my little Blade & Bloom touches and getting ready to officially welcome you into my chair.

Hair. Nails. Lashes. Waxing. Makeup.
And probably a little chaos along the way. 😂

I cannot believe I get to say this is mine!

I knew this day was coming. I just don’t think I realized how much it would hurt when it finally got here.

Today is my last official day as a hairstylist. 🤍

There have been so many tears leading up to today. Tears during appointments, tears after clients walked out the door for the last time, tears through hugs and “I’m going to miss yous.” Some goodbyes have hit me much harder than I ever expected.

Because after 11 years, these weren’t just appointments on my schedule.

I’ve watched people get married, have babies, change careers, lose people they love, start over, celebrate huge wins and make it through really hard seasons. And somewhere between the foils, haircuts and hours of conversations, so many clients became people I genuinely care about.

I know this is the right decision for me. I’m ready for what’s next. But I’m also learning that being ready for a new chapter doesn’t mean closing the old one won’t hurt.

So today I’m letting myself feel all of it 🤍 the sadness, the relief, the gratitude, the excitement and probably a whole lot more tears.

What a privilege it has been to be your hairstylist. 🤍

Not every brow needs a lamination. 👏🏼

Sometimes, a good wax + tint is ALL it takes to completely transform your brows.

Lamination is amazing for brows that need help with direction, symmetry, fullness, or hairs that just don’t want to cooperate, but it isn’t automatically the best choice for everyone.

One thing I’m continuing to learn as I dive deeper into brows is that a great brow service isn’t about doing more. It’s about knowing what each individual set of brows actually needs.

I’m learning, adapting, and continuing my education every day so I can bring my clients the best services possible. That means sometimes I may recommend a lamination, and other times I might tell you that a simple wax + tint is going to give you exactly what you’re looking for. 🤎

Because lamination is a chemical service, there’s no reason to process the hair if we don’t need to!

My goal will always be healthy brows, beautiful results, and services customized to YOU, not just checking every box on the service menu. ✨
