We had the honor of welcoming Mrs. Jeanette Wilkie, RN — 92 years young and once the dedicated nurse who worked alongside Dr. Smith right here inside the Historic Smith Clinic. To stand in the same halls where she once cared for patients decades ago was both humbling and inspiring.

As we celebrate Nurses Week and honor the spirit of , we are reminded that the heart of healthcare is built on generations of compassion, service, and community. Mrs. Wilkie represents a living piece of the Smith Clinic’s history, and it was a privilege to hear her stories and preserve this meaningful connection to Thomasville’s past.
