Easter 2020 in the books. It was weird. It was odd. It was unlike what we have done before but that is ok. We are just going with it. I’m realizing that “typical” no longer exists. We are setting the bar and standards low. This is our new normal and we are figuring it out one day at a time.

The crystal children are outside for the full moon. Anyone else? My collection is small now but growing thanks to ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Crazy eyes and White Claws. That’s it for today. I’m done. I am many things, but a homeschooler for a 6 year old is not one. I was Mary Poppins at 8am. By 8:30, I was possessed. I am over the Rona. I need people and I need school to come back. Who knew you could ruin someone’s day by asking them to write their name on top of a worksheet?! Jesus keep me near. I am weak. I am not cut out for this.

Let's just call it like it is and all agree that my crafting skills are lacking. But, the heart and spirit is there.

I have very vivid memories of watching Sesame Street with my brother. In this particular episode, they were showing a factory that made potato chips. I was fascinated and I decided that day, that I wanted to work in a factory and make potato chips for the rest of my life. I still think of this fondly and often. Fast forward to college where I had no idea what I wanted to do as there were no local factories around that were hiring to make potato chips. So, I randomly fell into becoming a Speech Language Pathologist and love it but never saw myself doing that growing up. I wanted to make chips. Fast forward again and I randomly fell into Network Marketing. Again, never saw myself doing that cause again, I just wanted to make potato chips dang it. But as I think about it, I can see how all of these dreams weave together now. Ok, this is babbling I know, but I do have a point...

Say what you will about Network Marketing. Love it or hate it, its ok. Love me or hate me, that is ok too. But I am a dreamer and I can see this world changing for the better right before my eyes. I feel so blessed to be a part of that. The face of NM is changing and whether you like it or not, people are tired of crappy products that are harmful. People are fed up with all the BS. People are ready for a change and that change starts today. That change starts with me and that change starts with you.

I see you, the dreamer like me. I hear you wanting a change. I feel your heart wanting more. Now. Now is the time for change. Now is the time to take control of your heart, your life and your future. Now is the time to build your dynasty. I am so blessed that I can still be a SLP and chase my dream of changing the world. One clean product at a time. One potato chip at a time.

Anyone else having big emotions right now? Just me?

Emotions are good, even when they are big, but what is the most important is what we do with those emotions and how we channel them.

There is so much fear, so much worry, so much anxiety, so much uncertainty going on in our lives right now. I think that is to be expected. But what I am also seeing is a lot of comparison. Heavens, please don't go down that rabbit hole of comparing yourselves to anyone.

If you are wrapping yourself in Saran Wrap, goggles and gloves to go to the mailbox, that is ok.

If your kids have not had a vegetable in 10 days, that is ok.

If you have every hour of home schooling planned, that is ok.

If your kids watch YouTube videos all day, that is ok.

If you are terrified, that is ok.

If you are winging it, that is ok.

We all get to have our own feelings and emotions. No one can tell you that what you feel is right or wrong. But when you feel so consumed by what others are doing, you can lose sight of yourself.

Stay strong my friends. Paddle your own canoe. Do what works for you and your family. And for all things good and holy, wash your hands.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you at this time in prayer. Lord, my spirit is shaken and so is my drink. I know You know my heart and I need you.

Lord, please take the devil out of these children. They are walking the thin line that is my nerves.

Lord I ask that you bless me with the ability to carry the one. The disease of common core has hit our home and we are afflicted with being dumb. I can not lead them to the correct answer, for neither myself nor Siri know the answer.

Lord please fill their bellies. Father, I did not know how much they starve. Please bring back their school stomachs and take the hollow leg for we are going to go bankrupt from the required 472 required snacks on the daily.

Lord please fix their hands, for they have become broken while attempting to clean up their messes. Please repair their broken legs so they can bring dishes to the sink and clothes to the laundry bin.

And finally Lord, if you could rain down some sunshine so that they can play outside, I would be forever grateful.
