Bang Hair And Art Gallery

Congratulations to me for the most prestigious milestone hairdressers reach... Carpal tunnel 🙄😂😭 I'm at beginning stages, so no surgery yet, just braces for two months then possibly a nerve evaluation (depending on what health insurance we can even afford next year) Please bear with me while I navigate new ways to work while caring for my health.

September 28th means so much to me.

September 28th 2004 was the day I walked into cosmetology school. It was the day my adult life began.

I absolutely love celebrating anniversaries, and September 28th is my hairaversary. 22 years!!! When me and Reed got together we decided to use September 28th to celebrate being business owners, to celebrate wins, to pick apart things we need to improve on, and to set goals.

I may have out done myself with these pomegranate lamb chops. This was a well deserved treat.

When life gets tough, it's hard to celebrate sometimes, but you take the wins when you get them.

Reed McDow

Happy 12th birthday to this goober! He still does the baby parade after dinner every night followed by the zoomies. He's my favorite snuggle bug. 🩵

Due to a couple of cancelled doctor appointments (my insurance sucks), I have a spot available Wednesday and Friday. Hit me up if you're interested!

I was in sophomore geometry class, when there was an announcement on the school wide intercom system to turn on the television. It's wild to think about the fact that I would never reach adulthood without the world being shaped by the events of that day. The events of that day directly impacted how I see and move around in the world. A generation later, the echoes of this horrible day continue to haunt every corner of our global collective society. Take care today, as we sit with heavy hearts 💔

Whether you've lost a loved one or have had your own struggles, I'm sending you all love today. Let's check in, let's speak up, let's show up.

Y'all know how passionate I am about mental health. The National Alliance on Mental Health does great work RIGHT HERE in the CSRA. Our annual fundraiser is right around the corner. Community support cannot happen without support from the community, so I need to see your faces! There will be local food vendors (Fernandas and El Rey) speakers, music, a silent auction with art by yours truly, a community art project, and raffle prizes! You can also purchase a Hope sign in honor of someone who has been affected by mental illness. In today's world, we have to support each other, so I will see you there!

Ribbons of color created with strategic placement, all done in 2 hours. Work smarter, not harder. Happy first day of school kiddos, teachers, admin, and workers. I hope you have a great year! 🩵⚡
