Thinking about your first Brazilian wax?

It’s totally normal to feel nervous! Whether it’s about the process itself or the idea of someone getting up close and personal. Trust us, we get it!

Between myself and my amazing teammate Luna, we perform dozens of Brazilians every week, and literally thousands each year! With years of experience behind us, we’ve truly seen it all and we can promise you this: your body is completely normal, and you’ll always be in safe, professional, and compassionate hands at Induced Alchemy Skin Studio.

When you arrive, we’ll greet you, confirm your chosen service(s), and chat about your skin and waxing history. For a Brazilian, you’ll undress from the waist down, get comfy on the table, and we’ll help you into the right position so the service feels as comfortable and efficient as possible. From there, we wax, we chat, and before you know it you’ll be dressed again and glowing; usually in just 15–20 minutes!

But what about the pain?

Here’s the truth: your first wax stings a little. But don’t worry, you’ll be supported the entire way through. We pride ourselves on being the ultimate wax hype team. We’ll coach you through breathing, keep you distracted with conversation, and help you laugh through the discomfort. The best part? Each appointment gets easier. We always recommend trying at least two back-to-back sessions before deciding if waxing is right for you—the second time is so much smoother, and most clients get hooked after that.

How to prepare for your first wax:
• Let your hair grow for at least 2–3 weeks after shaving or trimming.
• On the day of your appointment, take a warm shower, gently exfoliate, and moisturize.
• Up to your discretion, you can take an OTC pain reliever (like Advil or Tylenol) about an hour before your visit to ease sensitivity.
