Why Are Patients Who Take Weight-Loss Drugs Losing Their Hair? Dermatologists are seeing a clear pattern of hair loss in people using GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic. Reports show the medications throw the body off balance by cutting hunger faster than it can adapt. That stress pushes the body into survival mode, where hair growth shuts down and shedding shows up mont...

Before and after… she’s 88 and wanted a change😎

Did you get that...

This information lands very differently when you’re a parent.

According to the CDC, 99 percent of people who get polio never show symptoms. Most experience what looks like a mild cold for about a week.
No paralysis.
No lifelong damage.

Last year, deaths from polio worldwide were zero.

Globally, around 500 cases led to paralysis. About half recovered.

And then there’s this.

In 2022, 97 percent of serious polio cases were vaccine induced poliomyelitis. Meaning the strain came from the vaccine itself.

If you’re a parent, this doesn’t feel like data.
It feels heavy.

Because suddenly you’re thinking about how decisions were framed.
How fear was used.
How little room there was for questions and how no one ever said, “You deserve the full picture.”

You live with your child.

You notice what charts don’t capture.
Sleep changes.
Digestive struggles.
Skin flares.
Behaviour shifts.
A nervous system that feels overwhelmed.
You’re the one awake at night wondering if their little body is carrying more than it should.

Children today are growing up in a world their bodies were never designed for.
Heavy metal exposure.
Chemical exposure.
Ultra processed food.
Environmental burden.
Their systems are already under pressure.

And this is where the conversation usually stops.

Because you cannot talk about children’s health without talking about accumulation. What builds up quietly and whether the body is supported to clear it.

This is why detoxing matters.

Not extreme.
Not aggressive.
Not about undoing the past.

Detoxing is about support, Giving the body space, Helping it release what doesn’t belong so regulation and healing can happen naturally.

When I stopped chasing labels and focused on gentle, foundational detox with my own son, his behaviour, speech and eczema improved.

If you’re a parent who feels that quiet nudge to support your child gently and intentionally, comment GENTLE DETOX and I’ll share what we use. 12/23/2025
