So we’ve all survived a week of mom cooking dinner. We’ve had some good ones, and also some very strong vetos.

The fact that Mila actually ate some of it is a success in itself. First up were these Taco Sticks.

Basically taco meat and cheese, wrapped in pizza dough, and tortillas for dad.

Wasn’t bad, but if I made them again, I’d change it a little.

Everyone liked it, except Mila. Took one look, said “yuck!” and pointed to the whole plate.

Dad even took it for lunch with his new lunchbox 😎

Ok so first question. What is everyone’s go to go dinners? Please keep in mind that while I know HOW to cook, that I’m also a “beginner.”

I love a good dump and go crockpot meal, love meat and potatoes, also looking for a way to incorporate veggies.

Hi current friends!! I want to try and get a lot of different people in here so there is a variation of ideas and opinions.

I want this to be a page where anyone can share.

Some ground rules I feel I should lay down :

1. Don’t be a dick. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone is more than welcome share said opinions. We can disagree and still get along.

So I got in my feels today about some things I want to change in 2024.

Might have had something to do with talking about my Aunt Susan and Grandma Williams last night.

And my current idea is to start an actual “book” of recipes. And at the same trying to cook more in general, but to also branch out and stop cooking the same couple dozen meals over and over.

That way it can be passed to one of our kids. Who I also want to start branching out their “allowable foods”
