Marketing materials. Follow-up meetings. Even some of the things you probably wouldn’t think to ask about.

When my lash clients don’t like the bold and starkness of black lashes, I will always suggest going towards my brown shades of lash extensions. Brown lashes give the perfect amount of a soft contrast that truly compliments certain skin tones and eye colors.

Here’s a little cheat list on eye colors for you to use when you’re wanting to possibly use brown lashes on your client.

•Blue/grey eyes: brown lashes warm without the harshness that black creates against fair
skinned clients.
•Green/hazel eyes: using a warm brown shade will pull out the gold and amber flecks in their eyes.
•Light brown/amber eyes: using different brown shades will look best for a polished “clean girl” look and give a “no-makeup” makeup look.
•Dark brown eyes: I don’t suggest using brown lashes. It can cause a washed out look.
