Another year around the sun, another year of lessons, growth, gratitude, and the people who make life meaningful. ♥️✨

This past year brought growth, change, hard days, beautiful moments, unexpected plot twists, and plenty of reminders that I’m still becoming. I learned that every year, every wrinkle, every lesson, every scar, every hard season and every beautiful one has brought me here.

As I step into another year, my birthday wish is simple:

More adventures.
More memories.
More laughter.
More growth.
More spontaneous trips.
More dancing in the kitchen.
More living instead of waiting for the “perfect” time.
More moments that make me stop and think, damn, I’m really lucky to be here.

May I never take for granted the little things, the morning coffee, the belly laughs, the people who feel like home, the adventures near and far, and simply waking up with another day to experience it all.

And most importantly, I want to keep becoming…not a younger version of myself, not someone I think I’m supposed to be, but the woman I’m meant to be now.

So here’s to another trip around the sun. 🌞
To health. To love. To strength. To growth. To gratitude.To the people who make life sweeter.
To the adventures still waiting for me.

10 years ago, I put on my wedding dress and married you.

10 years later, I pulled pieces of that same wedding day back out and decided to recreate the magic, but with a very different kind of bridal look. 😉🔥

I repurposed my original wedding dress by Rosemary Hickerson , brought back elements from our wedding day, and turned them into my own little Light Side vs. Dark Side anniversary surprise. 🌌✨

And somehow, this shoot brought together so many pieces of our story.

11 years ago, you surprised me with an engagement party that I thought was our birthday party. 😂
10 years ago, you convinced me to have a Star Wars-themed wedding. 🌌

And 10 years later, here we are… still laughing, still adventuring, still surprising each other, still driving each other crazy but still choosing each other every day.

From road trips and adventures to traveling out of the country, building a life together, and dreaming about all the places still left to explore… these 15 years have been one beautiful plot twist after another.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learned about us, it’s that the element of surprise never gets old. 😉

Part 1 of our anniversary story. ✨

Being an esthetician has never been just about skincare for me.

Yes, we help our clients navigate acne, aging, pigmentation, sensitivity, and confidence in their skin, but what I’ve learned over the years is that our work goes so much deeper than that.

We spend hours with people. We celebrate their milestones, hear about their families, careers, heartbreaks, dreams, and sometimes we notice when they’re carrying more than they say out loud.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do isn’t recommend another serum or treatment. It’s checking in. Sending a text. Letting someone know they’re seen, valued, and not alone.

Healing isn’t always something that comes from a product or a facial bed. Sometimes healing begins with human connection.

Today, after reaching out to a client who was struggling, they sent me this message:

“Bea, I appreciate how much you’re always there for me in every way. This is really encouraging and sweet to hear. I’m so grateful for you.” 💕

Moments like these remind me why I chose this profession.

To my fellow estheticians: never underestimate the impact you have. We care for skin, but we also have the privilege of caring for people. Kindness, compassion, and genuine connection are just as powerful as any treatment we perform.

The glow we create isn’t always visible on the outside. Sometimes it’s the hope we help restore within someone else too 🤍

These women have been my Esthetics School in Oregon | Spectrum ride-or-dies through the long clinic days, lesson plans, laughs, happy tears, and everything in between. Watching us grow, not only as educators and estheticians, but as women, is something I’ll never take for granted.

The glow-up isn’t just in the before and after… it’s in the confidence we’ve built, the students we’ve impacted, and the friendships that have become family.

So here’s to the memories we’ve made and all the ones still to come. 💕

🕊️ It’s been a year since my cousin’s passing. I feel so blessed that in her final days, I was able to care for her and pamper her the way I know best, with love and with the touch of what I do every day. It was my way of giving her comfort before she found her rest.

This journey through grief has not been easy. I’ve faced many losses, my cousin, my mom, my fur baby Jello and others who have shaped my life.

For a long time, I thought I had to be strong all the time, to keep a shield up 24/7. But I’m learning that it’s okay to not be okay.

I also learned that grief teaches us that vulnerability is part of being human. Letting others see your pain doesn’t make you weak but it makes you real. It allows love, support, and comfort to come in when you need it most.

Healing isn’t linear, and talking about our losses keeps their memories alive while helping us find peace little by little. To anyone walking through grief, you are not alone, and it’s okay to let your shield down. I miss you and love you Mom & Chi Thuy.
