Okay friends let’s talk!

Pregnancy wrecks a woman’s body. If you have kids you know exactly what I’m talking about. If you don’t, well you’ll find out if and when you want to have them 🫠

Anyways, our bodies sustain a great deal of wounds and damages throughout pregnancy and especially childbirth, making the recovery process crucial. Recovery has to come first before attempts can even be made to build a better and healthier you, physically and mentally.

That leads us straight toooo ✨💫🥁Turmeric/Curcumin🥁 It’s been the hype, and rightfully so. There are sooo many researches on the many health benefits it offers available online but to name a few of my favorites:
-promote wound healing
-anti-inflammatory
-improve gut health i.e. stomach ulcers and indigestion
-aids with fat metabolism
-cell repairs

I had an episiotomy done with both of my children’s birth but my healing process was a breeze - back to work 8 days after I had Auri (I’m insane I know), and back to the gym lifting exactly 6 weeks after. IT. WORKS.

Personally we use these Korean 365 nano curcumin essence sticks. They’re pretty pricey though but super easy for me to mix one with a glass of water every morning and just chug it down, no smell no taste. However you can find it anywhere in forms of pills (we like the Solgar brand see attached pictures) or people make the turmeric “immune shots”, or golden paste and store in the fridge (I might or might have not made it for Yayo and Kilo, my corgis 😅).
