So far, coming back to the shop has been bittersweet. While we are excited to be serving our Matt’s Barbershop family again following Illinois State Laws regarding COVID-19 has definitely been difficult. Cutting hair while wearing a mask, performing heavy sanitation before and after every client, and following consistent guidelines is harder than it looks. So you all know we have been trying our hardest to get everyone in for an appointment at our earliest convenience. At Matt’s Barbershop, the safety and well being of our clients, friends, and family comes first. We are booked solid almost two weeks out with calls constantly coming in. Due to a high volume of calls with established clients, we are NOT taking new clients at this time. We appreciate all of your understanding and support during this time. I just want to take some time out today to thank everyone that has been checking up on me. It means a lot to me in this industry and I cannot wait to get back to work and most of all get you all back looking great. Without you guys I wouldn't be living my dream and would of never been able to take the plunge to open my own shop. During this pandemic I hope you and your families stay safe and grow closer with each other. Whether you're stuck at home with your wife or learning new things as a family take some time to be thankful for the small things in life. One things for certain if you make it out this quarenteen with your girlfriend chances are shes a keeper lol. I am blessed to have all of you I truly mean it. I'm sorry I couldnt do any cuts on the side. I just feel our health is more important and we can hold off just a little longer. April 30th we are supposedly going back but more than likely it might be extended.
