Kimberly Cole LMT

Let’s talk about it… the elephant in the room.

I’ve been doing a fantastic job of avoiding it, but here we are—my last week as a full-time massage therapist. I know you all have questions (and opinions!), so let’s just lay it all out.

I’ve been a therapist for 15 years—crazy, right? The average career span for an MT is about 8 years, so I’ve definitely put in the time. Over the past few years, I’ve dealt with some physical struggles, the biggest being ulnar nerve entrapment in both arms. I’ve tried everything to heal it naturally—everything except stepping back from my practice. There are surgical options, but they would take me out of massage for up to six months per arm, and I want to avoid that at all costs.

Then, the universe opened a door.

I was offered a great opportunity with a local company, Hoosier Sign Guy, where I’ll be working full-time in an admin role, learning the ins and outs of the business. The owner has been incredibly supportive, allowing me to transition out of my massage practice the right way. He shares the same family-first values that I do and understands that my kids’ schedules will always be a priority. There’s also room for growth, which is exciting! My hope is that stepping into a less physically demanding role will allow my body to heal itself naturally.

For years, I’ve been in hustle mode—grinding, pushing, making it work. And I’m proud of that. But part of that was out of necessity. Now, for the first time in my entire life, I’m not in fight-or-flight mode. I can take a deep breath without fearing the ground will slip out from under me. I’m stepping into a new era—one of peace, balance, and choice.

Thank you for being you. For supporting every idea, every dream, every pivot I’ve ever made. I’m not disappearing—I’ll still be around (again, on an extremely limited basis) because I WANT to be, not because I have to be.

Love you big. 🖤

Unfortunately, I cannot accept new clients at this time. Current clients or gift certificates only.

February 28 will be my last day as a “full time” massage therapist. Please scroll through for more information.

This isn’t an easy decision, but I am confident that it is the right one.
💙
Love you.

To my wonderful clients,

I will be out of the office and unavailable to respond to messages or inquiries until February 10. This is my time to relax, recharge, and spend some much-needed quality time with my husband and a few of our closest friends. 💕

Thank you for always giving me the space and grace to step away and unwind. Your understanding and support mean the world to me! I look forward to returning refreshed and ready to help you feel your best.

See you soon!
