Today’s color correction. So pleased with the health and condition of her hair after we lightened!! I used multiple levels of developer to lift through grey hair, banding, and brassy ends. I used a double pigmented ammonia free color between each foil and under the occipital bone for dimension and to cover the remaining grey and brass. A beautiful neutral beige toner and k18 finished out her color service. A healthy cut and styling with k18 and Amika heat shield finished this one off with a bang!! Not all highlights have to be blonde to create dimension and beautiful tones in the hair.
My client wanted a warmer more dimensional color that suited her skin tone. I gave her a warm copper highlight and a dark chocolate brown base and her hair looks so healthy and shiny!

I wish you could feel through the phone!! My sweet client was so heartbroken that her hair was damaged and broken. It was uneven with banding and she just didn’t feel confident in her hair.
I did a full lightening service with my enzyme developer to prevent further breakage. I hand picked out the banding and tapped that with a very gentle lightener. I used my brass blaster on the hair left out and clarified her once processed. Toning is never optional with my clients. It seals the cuticle down, adds bonder back to each hair shaft and an all over shine. A healthy cut and style using K18 and the new olaplex shine mist finished up this transformation!
She was so happy!!! 👏🏾
