You don't have to know how to throw a punch. You don't have to know proper form for every exercise. And you certainly don't have to keep up with the person next to you.

You just have to be willing to TRY.

Our latest Confidence 101 gave some familiar faces (and some new ones) the opportunity to try something completely new, and I LOVED watching Jami guide them through it.

The instruction. The encouragement. The reminders to breathe. The celebration at the end.
THIS is what group fitness should feel like.

Because sometimes the biggest thing you gain from trying something new isn't physical strength.

It's realizing you're capable of more than you thought.

If you see something in someone, SAY IT. 🩷

She probably has absolutely no idea what she did that day.

To her, it was probably a 30-second conversation in a parking lot.
To me, it changed the trajectory of my life.

She saw something in me that I hadn’t seen in myself yet.

And then my husband saw it too.

And somewhere between “Where do you teach?” and “Maybe you should become the instructor you’ve been looking for”… something clicked.

So I did.

And all these years later, I sometimes wonder what would’ve happened if she had thought, “I should tell her…” and then just kept walking.

Tell people when they inspire you.
Tell them when you see something special in them.
Tell them when they’re really freaking good at something.
Tell them when their energy changes a room.

You have no idea what someone might do with the confidence you just handed them.

And to the random woman who followed me after class all those years ago to ask where I taught…
