Starting Melrose Soap never looked glamorous.

It looked like making soap in my kitchen, testing recipes at my dining room table, and loading boxes into my car hoping someone besides myself would love them too.

When it came time to name the business, I kept coming back to one thing: Melrose Drive.

The street where my home was that all of this started.

I wanted Melrose Soap to always be an homage to our early days: learning everything from scratch, building slowly, and creating products that genuinely helped sensitive, dry skin.

It’s surreal looking back at these photos now while preparing for maternity leave and realizing how much this little business has grown 🧡
