If you’ve been following along with the journey of getting our new space at Solace on Brighton ready… you already know it has been a journey.

Yesterday’s meeting definitely did not go the way I expected, but for now, I’m choosing to trust that the work will be completed when I’ve been told it will be. At the same time, I’m also being realistic and ready to pivot if I need to.

Running a small business has taught me that sometimes you can do everything you’re supposed to do and still end up navigating things completely outside of your control. I’m trying my best to protect Andersen Esthetics, keep moving forward, and get back to doing what I actually love — taking care of my clients. 💜

Seriously, THANK YOU to everyone who reached out after my last update. Whether you told me to hang in there, shared your own experience, offered help, or simply reminded me not to give up — I felt all of it. 🥹

And if you were wondering what I was putting on my skin while giving you the latest episode of As the Spa Turns 😂… I’m currently testing a serum and moisturizer that were sent to me by another small business focused on more organic skincare. I’ve really been enjoying them so far and think they could potentially be a beautiful fit at Andersen Esthetics. I’m also very intrigued by a bee venom line she’s working on. 👀🐝

I always want to try things myself before considering bringing them in for you, so I’ll keep you posted as I continue testing!

For now… we wait, we trust, we prepare, and if necessary — we pivot. 💜

I'm not going to cry... So I can't go live because I don't have 1000 followers so a reel update it is.
I'm trying so hard to stay positive, I know everything happens for a reason and everything is my life serves me but damn. What is the lesson. I'm here open to learning and growing from failure but specifically I am lost.
I know it is what it is and it will get done eventually. But at this point it is effecting everything and I don't know if my small business, only 3 years old can survive a long pause. And right before the holidays.

I'm open to any advice + prayers, and at this point if you know of a spaces in/near Tonawanda for rent 4-5 rooms with sinks, laundry area, breakroom/storage, reception area, parking, first floor please send me any info.

I'm hoping for the best but feeling I should prepare for the worst.
