We will be at Tonawanda City Market twice this month. Williamsville Farmers Market we are scheduled for the second weekend every month this year. And Kenmore Farmers Market starts up on Father's Day - grab your favorite father and enjoy music, food, and a little shopping at the amazing vendors there.

Fun Fact: This year is my 11th year at the Kenmore Farmer's Market!!

One of my favorite one-herb infusions, White Pine with a scoop of honey.
I love White Pine in my skincare (Woodland Breeze lotion and currently in Evergreens and Moroccan Red Clay soap) because it is so soothing to both the skin and calming when you smell it. And I really enjoy making a tisane (herbal infusion) because it smells lovely, has some antimicrobial properties for warding off unsavory germs, and it is wonderful for opening up the respiratory system. White Pine is good for unsticking what’s stuck, but in a gentle manner.
If you have access to a White Pine tree - they have long slender needles that are bundled into groups of five - you can simply gather clean needles. Cut them up, pour hot water over them, and infuse for about 15 minutes or so. Then add honey to taste. Delicious and nutritious!
