Went to the Museum of Fine Art yesterday with my friend Dale to see the exhibit Class Distinctions (dutch painting in the era of Rembrandt and Vermeer). It was a fabulous show and a must see for everyone but will only be there till the 18th.

Amazing!

Maureen's Fine Art - MFA Maureen is a Cape Ann oil painter and works in a traditional representational style with intricate brushwork and color application. Intrigued by light, shadow and form, she finds her inspiration in the natural, omnipresent beauty of New England that is often overlooked or taken for granted. With thoughtful observation, Maureen captures the true essence of her surroundings with depth and detail, transforming the ordinary into extraordinary, evoking memories of a past time and places, thus allowing the viewer to experience a sense of connection and intimacy with her work. Her paintings feature rural landscapes, seascapes and still life.

Her work is in private collections throughout the United States and Canada.
