Lotus Rescue and Rehab

A rescue and rehabilitation organization that seeks to build lasting relationships between people and animals and educate society in the care and ethical treatment of the four-leggeds. First and foremost we rescue shelter animals. We rehabilitate with TLC and find foster homes and trainers to aid in the process. Secondly, we provide a place for humans to come and help the animals and build relationships with them in order to help and heal each other from life's misfortunes and traumas. And last but not least, we adopt pets into responsible loving forever homes with training and education for all! Why the lotus as our symbol? Because the lotus flower stands for cause and effect and the awareness that it is simultaneous. When a cause is made, good or bad, it is a given that there will be an effect. The universe and "Powers that be" in it, always delivers in some form. The effect begins at the very instant one makes the cause just as the Lotus Flower seeds and blooms at the very same time! As with all of life's trials, beauty and compassion is often created from the depths of pain and suffering. Again, like with the Lotus Flower.... "The Lotus is a flower that grows in the mud.
