Hello everyone. I am excited to finally share something I have been working on, I feel like - most of my life, I just didn't know it. At the age of 65, "The Golden Medicare Age" - I am starting my very first business.
Welcome to "Kit's Corner of Calm".
I feel like I have been called to this type of business for many reasons. First, I found myself in the position of becoming a caretaker for my adult 27-year-old daughter. She slowly became very ill, unable to continue her college studies, lost her ability to work at her job and even her social life.
She slowly became bedbound. After appointments with many doctors, specialist and untold number of testing - we were left with no reason for her to be in this condition. "She was too young. It must be all in her head". We know that was not the case. We were left out on our own to figure it out. Our journey through her illness, uncertainty, and resilience led us to explore natural & holistic ways to support her healing. Along the way, that path led us to Reiki and energy work. It helped us to find peace in the midst of chaos. It provides comfort, balance, & moments of calm when needed the most. This practice of Reiki reminded us of the body's beautiful ability to heal, when given the space & support to do so.
My mission is to help support individuals on their own wellness journey. Excited to announce now offer Reiki & Energy healing to others who are seeking rest, renewal, & reconnection.
Whether you are going through stress, burnout, emotional heaviness, or a healing journey of your own - this space is for you.
